Hi GDude, you did not upset me in the least. I hope to return to IN for a visit. It will seem strange to visit and not have my house be there! I am so hungry for Pizza King pizza and Frozen Custard cherry sundae and a chopsteak with mustard and relish from Triple XXX!

Okay, that's pretty! I think Indiana is just gorgeous! I am working for a company in Indiana now. The ladies I am working with (who are my QA staff) are very precise but very, very nice and always answer my questions. Lovely folks!
When I have earned some vacation time, I am going to ask my husband if we can go for a week or two to Indiana. Maybe he'll think about letting us move there! ;-)
Anybody know the best places to move if you are an older retired couple who wants a few acres to have a garden and to keep a few chickens? A good Methodist church and nice neighbors would be great too!

Come to Columbus! I think you'd find what you are looking for, we don't have mountain hiking though ...
I bet you guys would move to Brown County in a heartbeat for your golden years after one visit.

Really almost town in Indiana would fit that. Although Eastern Hendricks County has been ranked by several national magazines for being one of the top places for seniors to retire to. Plainfield has a huge methodist church as does Avon and Brownsburg( the other 2 towns in Eastern Hendricks) People here are very friendly.
Hope you find what your looking for.
