You have to ask yourself why republicans would actually vote for Clinton in the primaries, they are doing it all across the nation. They think that McCain can beat her. GAWD I hope not if she is the chosen one.

A recent AP poll .. yes, I know ... polls, sigh. Had Hillary beating McCain by 9 points and running dead even with Obama. I have several GOP friends and I've been telling them not to vote democratic unless THEY are willing to accept that fact that McCain may lose. Each and every one of us should vote our own conscious. Regardless of Operation Chaos, which is going to bite Mr. L in the keester.

I will be a registered IN voter in November, and I'll vote for McCain. I live in Texas now, and when the requests went out to vote the democrat ballot, I didn't. To me, that's not winning fairly, but let's remember, not one of these politicians and their aides haven't gotten to this point in their career without doing or saying something we, as their supporters, cringe over. I know McCain didn't suggest this, but he's tarnished because of it.

From what I've reserached, Obama wasn't on the Michigan ballot because he knew it wasn't goin to fly. Does anyone else have any evidence of this? I heard this back just before the Michigan primary.

And to jest sportily, the poster who mentioned Bush's eight years of dictatorship, while he has added security measures and done some things that has ticked me off, that is nothing compared to the kind of country we could be under if Obama gets it and is able to tackle even half the social issues he's mention. Now, I don't believe he or Hillary will be able to go too far. Our congress is balanced enough to keep most of their social tax-dollar-sucking programs to slither into law, but I don't want to take the chance that they would have the power to tell me what I can and can't do with my life, money, etc... I think Hillary understands more what she can and can't get past the American public and Congress, so I'm more comfortable with her.
