Indiana Bicycle Rides
Thought might be good to have a thread devoted to bike riding for Indiana, and region.
Northern Indiana Fat & Skinny Tire Festival
If interested in off-road [fat tire] and/or road style [skinny tire] versions, there is a bike festival that starts tomorrow [Friday, May 1st] at Winona Lake, IN. This is just ~30 minutes west of Columbia City, off of US30. Quite the scenic and nice area. I rode the 20 mile route last year, had great time [even w/ the thigh road rash at the 1.5 mile marker! ]. Indy Motor Speedway will be there this year too, having displays - along with other vendors hawking their wares too. Some good eats, and lake in the area also. Oh, the BMX Freestyle Show is amazing what loops, etc. that can be done. Be good if the weather cooperates - I can take the cold or heat, but don't want to be riding in the rain... which is being forecasted...

Great Thread
How did I miss this?
More resources for Hoosiers Who Pedal.
The Grandaddy of them all, the Indiana Bicycle Coalition is an advocacy group and has an event calendar for the entire state:
Bicycle Indiana
One of the largest and oldest touring clubs, and hosts of the Hilly Hundred:
Central Indiana Bicycling Association
Another great touring club and host of the annual RAIN ride:
The Bloomington Bicycle Club Homepage
And finally, on the dirty side of things, the statewide organization that brings you all of those delicious trails (and helped launch our state into one of the 33 best rides in N. America according to BIKE Magazine):
Hoosier Mountian Bike Association - Home
