I 69?
Will this project ever get underway? I love the idea of connecting Indy and Evansville because both sides of my family are concentrated within these two cities. Why is there such a delay?

who knows, when they first announced the project, they said they would begin it in 2008, last i heard about it on the news stations was 2 years ago.. i would like to see it happen myself because bloomington needs better routes to the city

I recall controversy about routes and getting land owners to sell and envirionmentalists getting in a twist as well.

I could be mistaken, but I thought they started building, or at least prepping an area for building, just north of the I-64/I-164 intersection.

construction of I-69 begins this summer with the first 18 miles between Evansville and i think it said Oakland City? being constructed first

Glad to hear construction is supposed to start this summer. I will be thrilled when I can avoid the drive on 41 to Terre Haute. I hate that stretch!
