Southern Indiana - HELP
I will be working at the French Lick Resort & Casion and West Baden Hotel...in fact start work tomorrow. My husband and 3 small kids (youngest is 5 months) were going to follow in a couple of weeks when our house we were going to lease in Jasper was ready. The owners of the house had an illness pop up and will no longer be leasing the house (to anyone). HELP!!! We want to move the family here as soon as possible, but don't want to buy a home until we are here a little while (and we have our current home to sell). We had wanted to be in Jasper because it's an easy commute for me, and we've been told they have great schools, but right now I just want something I can move my family into as soon as possible. We have a realtor looking for more lease properties for us, but if anyone knows how we can find anything local I would greatly appreciate it!!!

When I was there last week, there were a few houses in the downtown part of Jasper for rent. We may be relocating to Jasper as well and have been looking for something to rent. We would prefer not to be right in town, but haven't found much. Seems like a tough place to find a nice rental home. If anyone knows of any I would like to know as well.

There are no nice rentals in Jasper. It's a small town. You either buy or build.

Found a house with lease possibilities. It's in the neighborhood across the street from the high school (St. Charles Street, I'm pretty sure). Nice neighborhood.
Single Family Home - 1153 20TH ST, JASPER, IN, 47546 - Realtor.com We lived in Jasper for 5 years. Great place to raise kids. Visited the renovated French Lick Resort Casino before we left. Beautiful! Best of luck.
