The mutations of this virus would have been diminished if the shots were not administered to so many people. The more they give out shots, the more the virus will continue to mutate and be around in some form. Obviously that is already the case. Instead of letting it die out naturally the shots will insure this virus stays around because it will continue to fight for its own survival against a new "enemy". Duh.

That's total hogwash and flies in the face of what every credentialed epidemiologist has stated. Mutations happen in an *unvaccinated* population...because the more a virus is allowed to replicated, mutations occur due to errors in the genetic sequence. Alpha emerged from the UK. Delta emerged from India. Omicron from southern Africa. Any virus has a much shorter lifespan in a vaccinated population.

The reason we don't hear about measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, etc. etc. is because of VACCINATIONS. Which you are already benefitting from.

No pharmaceutical company, just a logical thinker. And you don't believe your own state's public health stats? Hopefully you haven't been brainwashed by Todd Rokita too (soundly refuted by Gov. Holcomb and others, by the way).

Actually it seems as though you've been brainwashed.

Covid is more like a Cold virus and in fact is a cousin of it. Thus the constant mutations. No vaccine will eliminate the cold virus. I think it was Linus Pauling that researched this and said it is best to let it runs its course and don't try to fight it with a drug because it will just mutate and change form. That is already bearing out with the KodaChromeCon mutation. Boosters are not helping at all and even the original shot is not helping either.

Yep. For every booster there's another strain of the virus. It's like playing whack-a-mole. Having 100% of people vaccinated wouldn't ensure that another strain would eventually come about.

Exactly. Not all viruses are created equally.

I know how to think for myself. BTW. I am originally from the Hartford area. Grew up in Simsbury and I'm the product of Simsbury's educational system. Lived in West Hartford for many years as well. What is Ned Lamont thinking by creating an Executive Order allowing Covid patients in nursing homes? Mass murder like NY? Unless they empty out the elderly currently residing in those facilities, there may be a lot of elderly people getting sick and/or dying from Covid.

Don't know much about Todd Rokita. Never heard of the guy. I bought a home in Indiana recently and plan to relocate later this year. Thus, I am reading this board to gain information about the state.

How about you?

Huh? Where does that story even talk about the % of hospitalizations & deaths which are unvaccinated vs. vaccinated? That's the stats I was referring to.
