purportedly Purdue students swimming in the Wabash in 1898.....mostly curious about the exact location and if the bridge is still standing......Google Earth/Street View shows two possibilities on each side of the N 9th St Rd bridge, but truss patterns don't seem to match....possible later reconstruction??......just a history/geography nut here.....I hope the picture is "safe" for city-data!!....thanks

The bridge at South Street was built in 1906.

Davis Ferry bridge was built in 1912. The trusses don't look exactly the same to me, either.
