Yes, things have changed since I graduated from New Paris High School..but New Paris and Goshen are still nice places to live and if you have a family, raise kids. One of the other posters made Goshen sound like a high crime city and although it might be higher than in days gone by...there is no place that is insulated from crime. I have lived in other parts of the country and am now "back home". My folks live just a few miles from New Paris and have lived in the same house for 50 yrs...along with my other family members in the Goshen/Bristol area. No one I know has ever had any problems.

Also, if you live in New Paris and have kids they will be attending Fairfield schools and it is a great school system. If you need any more info, please get in touch.

Yep Domer, its a 1/4 mile track, just across the cornfields from my childhood home. When I was a kid, every Saturday night was "race" night and we went often. My dad and brother are still big race fans. My brother used to drive a car in his younger days and his wife ran in the "powderpuff derby". You can still hear the races on Saturday night. Now I live in NW Elkhart, not too far from the Osceola Dragway...which has been there a long time as well.
