I am glad to hear that everyone is safe so far. I am up near Fort Wayne, so we have fortunately escaped the floods. I travel to Evansville frequently to visit my parents, so I am familar with a lot of the roads and such that are under water.

Everyone stay safe.

I think everything is open now ... just empty fields and grimey gunk in some places.

Yea, its open. Came across it last night - however, the "pavement" that they put down in the rush to reopen [no offense, just saying] is soft; they've a sign saying caution-rough road, but didn't expect to "sink" into such a low area. So, this is indeed a caution sign that ya should pay attention to!

Thanks for the information. I am heading from Berne to Evansville on Tuesday. I may just take I-65 to I-64...I don't like to sink.

lol, wouldn't fret about the 'sinking',,, just a little low spot and dip in the pavement, about 10' long - was dark, so don't recall exactly
