Default Kuhn Lake

Can anyone tell me why Kuhn lake is so named?

The lake came up as part of my family history research and I'm obviously interested to know who the lake was name after, and whether there are any surviving Kuhns who still live around the lake.

I live in Lincoln, in the UK.

My father's family were German-thus the name (and the possible link with Kuhn lake).

Oh, I was just curious, the name Kuhn is huge in this area. I am in Waldron, Indiana, United States.

Kuhn Lake in Kosciusko County, Indiana, was indeed named after local Kuhn families. There are still many Kuhns in that area. If you will contact the Kosciusko County Historical Library, I am sure they can assist you. The Kuhn families in Indiana migrated in from NY to OH to IN. My husband is a Kuhn and we once lived in Kosciusko County. Good luck in your solving your puzzle. For some strange reason, the name of Charlie Kuhn keeps coming to mind as one of the local Kuhn Lake residents. But I am not sure of that.
