To start, in the Ft Wayne area this weekend you have the finger-licking, lip-smacking BBQ RIBFEST 2008

It was a blast!!! Had a great time, all the musicians are outstanding. My husband and I enjoyed every bit of it and there's nothing like this in Michigan. Any advise where to find good fireworks to watch on the 4th?
Hope you're doing okay and having a good time also.

Will you be near "home" in Auburn Hills/Detroit, Ft. Wayne, or some other locale?
Chicago is great, if desire to travel a bit west. Detroit should have good show too.
Might check out: Fireworks Displays in Michigan Cities for 2008 or IN Festivals July for couple examples.
Doing great, thanks - every day is a experience...

This upcoming weekend... Marshall County Blueberry Festival in Centennial Park, Plymouth
Yours truly is making plans to be on his bike, pedaling somewhere between 41 and 62 miles in the bike cruise.

I love the Feast of the Hunters' Moon at Fort Quiatenon, outside of West Lafayette. I think it is either this or next weekend. People (over 1,000) dress in 18th century costumes and re-enact events that took place at the fort and in the area. A really, really neat festival. Google it for more details. It is a can't miss event! I think it has been going on for about 40 years.

Went today - good vittles [duck sandwich, bison burger, apple burger ], many people, great weather...
Good luck w/ the parking by the fair grounds - might park off-site, Main St has shuttle, plus bonus of seeing their stuff too.
