New Ft. Wayne restaurants in the past 2 years?
Going home for a visit this summer. Will cook a few meals at home, but also like to eat out. Opus 24 and The Tavern are on the list. Just wondering if any new restaurants opened during the past 2 years. Staying in the Aboite area.

Had a great visit earlier this month! Tried Opus 24 for lunch one day and loved it! The lobster bisque is incredible! The almond crusted walleye was better than The Tavern's and since it's no longer on The Tavern's menu guess we can scratch The Tavern off our list.
Also picked up peaches & cream corn from the farm stand on Hadley Road. You don't find corn like that in the south!

Try the Aboite Grill on 14 and Scott Rd. The owner is really gracious and the food is good. Used to be Annie's, which I miss.

Vigneto next to Mitchell Books in Covington Plaza (off of West Jefferson Blvd) is new and pretty good as well (the deserts are particularly noteworthy).
My wife and I also enjoy Opus 24 on date nights... indeed their lobster bisque is excellent.

Thanks for the heads up on Aboite Grill and Vigneto! Will try to check out one or both next year when we're home for a visit.

Both of these are downtown, across street [Wayne] from each other:
Toscani's pizza/Italian and then J.K. O'Donnell's Irish Ale House
You might also check those listed here: Fort Wayne Downtown Improvement District

Shadow, visited Cindy's Diner years ago. My first diner, so the experience was what it was.
The one I would really love to try is Joseph Decuis.
