"It's trying to apply a business model to a social service situation," Cardwell said. "No one has sat down and talked to enough clients to figure out what kind of systems they need. If people are so sick and out of money, they can't sit there on the phone for hours."

Sounds like our man Mitch and our state could be in deep doo doo with the feds from selling out the social services to a private sector. While widespread abuse has gone on for years with the welfare the system is now harming the ones that truly need these services.

Why would a private company pay 1.6 billion dollars for a service that it can't make money on or recoup their costs? People say the fat cats are not getting richer off this deal and I say that is a lot of bunk!
