It's the combo that you really want. Washington to Bosse, Scott/Oak Hill to North. They can all be good schools. Thompkins to Central is another one. I'd stay away from the west side if you don't want people to look at your funny when you are on the east side.

It's the GS/HS combinations that count. Thompkins/Central, Scott/North, Oak Hill/North combo, the Washington Bosse, there is some affluence of that area, the Plaza/Harrison combination, the Hebron/Harrison combination. Don't know much about Reitz H.S. I'll let the expert west siders weigh in on that.

I went to Glenwood and Bosse High Schools. Both schools have fantastic staff and teachers, especially in the advanced/honors classes. They both tend to get a bad rap, but I enjoyed both schools and feel very well educated. Bosse has the International Baccalaureate program if your interested in the honors programs. If your child is looking into any kind of vocational program like culinary arts, welding, etc., you should look into the technical school on the North side. If your child is into the arts but cares nothing about sports, you should look into Signature school. Good luck with your search!
