Jer17...
But, I can't stand New Hampshire; it was like 16 below this morning. It’s been below zero most of the month.
It's been 5-25 below zero with windchill factor here in Indiana for the last couple weeks.

Yeah, that’s pretty cold. However, I’m not talking wind-chill factor here. It was just simply 16 below 0. WITHOUT the wind-chill factor. So far this month, anyway, most morning’s temps have been below zero, ranging from 4-16 below. Again, without wind-chill. And this is a mild winter year for NH. Previous years, I've seen 20 below and worse. I’ve walked a mile or so in 20 below weather. I had a beard at the time, and by the time I got home, it was iced over. It looked like I had a long gray beard. LOL. Usually we get this frigid weather around the months of January and February. Most highs earlier this month and late January were in the singles. The morning that it was 16 below, the high was about 2 degrees. If you want to calculate the wind-chill factor in with a constant 16 below temp, buurrrrrr. Freaking cold. It’s like 35-40 below wind-chill factor. That's what it felt like yesterday. Man, it was very windy, too. I've been watching the temps in Indiana this winter. I can say I was surprised to see how cold it got there in the southern areas, but still Northern NH can get really get bad. Fortunately, though, we've had an easier winter due to the El Niño thing. And fortunately we didn’t get a piece of the snow storm that New York is still getting.
Curious, what’s the biggest snowfall you got this year? Have you guys gotten like 12-24” snowfalls in a single storm in recent years? I know Northern Indiana gets cold and a bunch of snow due to the lakes, but I’m curious about the Columbus and surrounding areas.

I am not in the least bit concerned about twisters when I see that North Central Indiana is going to get another 6 to 10 inches of snowfall starting tomorrow afternoon and extending into Tuesday. my snow removal man is on standby with his plows, snow blowers and ready to spring into action.

I believe that's the storm that's going to hit NH this week. Bummer, huh? Least it's not 10 feet of snow. Do you ski? Snowmobile? Only thing I like about snow is when it melts, LOL.

In light of all the tornados I've seen mentioned on the news over the past few years, in all parts of the country, I'd say no place is 100% tornado free. I wouldn't worry about it.

California is 100% Tornado free.
