Default Bloomington neighborhoods

I was wondering if there were any particular neighborhoods in Bloomington that would be considered social. By social, I mean a place where neighbors invite each other over for barbeques, they have poker nights or progressive dinners. Just wondering. Thanks.

gimme it--I've not heard of any neighborhoods that were particularly social in those ways. It's not to say those kinds of things don't exist, but it's not something any one neighborhood is known by. I think most most people are pretty friendly though. I also suspect that those kinds of activities are more common in newish neighborhoods. Why not be the one to start a "new tradition" when you make the move to Bloomington
