Default Valparaiso to Winamac

My husband work maybe relocating him to Winamac. I am wanting and needing a bigger city. Do you think the commute to Valparaiso would be too much.I know it says on mapquest it will take 1 hour. Are there any other towns you would suggest? Thank you

Isn't there a Winamac exit off 65? You could check out Crown Point ...

Winamac is straight South of LaPorte. No exit off of I-65, unless you get off at Rensselear and head East on country roads.

Cotheran1212, I've got family in Winamac, so I'm fairly familiar with the area. He would be looking at a commute time of at least 45 minutes (bare minimum). Add in snow, and he's looking at an even longer drive.

Wow, I didn't know that. That's great !

We usually get off the Interestate at the last Lafayette exit & head towards LaPorte from there.

I remember seeing it a year or so ago. I think it was mainly added for easier access to that Fair Oaks place.
