P.S. I'm 36 but feel like I'm still 30. It really sucks. Everyone my age is married with children. I've had a hard time befriending people since I got out of grad school.

So what apartment complex did you move to? And do you like it.

I have basset hounds, hiking with them would be limited to short distances, they would rather sleep all day. I used to take them to community park and one lap was about all they could handle. I have moved to the other side of town now and haven't been to the park for awhile. But it's a nice to take a walk, I wouldn't call it a hike. Deam lake which is about 10 miles north out hwy 111 to hwy 60 has several hiking trails. It's a state park.

Willow Run Apts. It is okay I guess. If you're interested in making a new friend, let me know. I am quite lonely, as I have been here now for close to two months and haven't really found anyone to hang out with. I am a teacher so I can't exactly ask my students to do stuff with. I've taken my dog to Mt. St. Francis refuge. Its a great place to take dogs. Gotta run.

I stayed at Willow Run while they repaired my house after a fire. They aren't bad. My wife is a teacher's aide at the high school. She works in the special ed. department. What school you teaching at?

Hey Therese. I live in Clarksville. Do you have a facebook account? Often times you can find groups on there that you have things in common with. Another option is meetup.com.

Therese, I would recommend that you avoid the Louisville side of the river as far as living here. One has to do with state taxes in KY being 3 percent higher than areas in Indiana. Kentucky defines what a poor socialist state truly is. State income tax here is 2.4 percent higher, local income tax is 1 percent higher on average. Property taxes are getting pretty high depending on where one lives.
