Default Mishawaka Hills

I moved to Mishawaka in August and have been house hunting. I was told about Mishawaka Hills and took a venture up there. I really like what I saw. Its very woodsy and quiet. There are only two homes for sale that I know of. Im curious if anyone knows some information about the area. The roads have a steep incline and I have not experienced a winter here yet. Is snow removal decent in Indiana? Exp. in the residential areas?

From the impression I got from real estate listings, there is a Blair Hills and Mishawaka Hills. Blair seems to extend down from the hill across Dragoon. Either way, any info is appreciated on the "hill" homes.

Mishawaka Hills is the same general area, just a little further west.

I love the area myself. Driving through it reminds me of the area I grew up in back east with the hills and all the trees.

They're generally pretty good about snow removal in this area, but you're still responsible for taking care of your own and some of those winding, hilly driveways would probably be interesting to drive up and down in the winter no matter how well you clear it. Of course in my case, the older I get the less adventurous I get.

All the driveways aren't that bad though and I think it would be a nice area to live.

I prolly should have sent you a PM. You are from Reveerwood right? Or however its spelled. Your sub is on our list. I crack up everytime I drive through there cuss the neighborhood kids must know I dont live there. They stand on the corners with watchful eyes, like "who is that?". Then they wave like crazy. Its cute. I really like the hills cuss it reminds me of home. But the steep roads and drives make me wonder what sort of winter adventure that would be. Also Im not too crazy about the idea of a septic tank. I heard some horror stories about them. So anyway, Im putting on some miles driving around the area. Again, I always appreciate the input.
