Default Townhomes/Condominiums/Apartments in Fort Wayne

Hi there,

My wife and I are relocating to Fort Wayne and even though the housing market is incredibly affordable we would prefer to rent.

We have done a preliminary search on apartments, condominiums, and townhomes and have not been very impressed. Ideally, we would like a 2-4 bedroom place with at least two bathrooms in a nice, safe area. Of course we would prefer amenities like a fireplace, or an open kitchen, but really we are looking for the best possible townhomes or condominiums or apartments.

Regarding the area, I think we would prefer the SW side but the pickings look slim, so also the North side as well.

We really need your help, opinions, and suggestions because the online database has been pretty weak, unhelpful, and discouraging. Thanks!

Check out Dawsons Creek on Dupont Road. (near Coldwater)

It backs right up to my addition.
Nice new townhouses and the Parkview YMCA is on the same street.
Walking distance to the Dupont Library as well.
The elementary school is Washington Center, and my kids have done great there!

Below are a couple lists of places in the 46804 zip code - an area I highly recommend in the SW side of Fort Wayne.
Search results:
1) Apartments for Rent in Allen County | Apartment in Allen County*

2) 46804 Apartment Rentals – Condos for Rent in 46804

If you are still looking for a condominium, Lakes of Buckingham in the Village of Buckingham on the northeast side by Georgetown Square are nice. If you need more detail please send me an E-Mail.
