What kind of things are you needing to know. I live about 35 miles from there into Ill. I know nothing of the schools, but i do travel through there quite a bit. It is a small river town with alot of tourist activities. Lots of old shops, candle making, weaving etc. It is a quiet town. No wal-mart, I don't think there is a grocery store either. Other than quick stops. It is a beautiful, friendly town. I hope this helps some. If you have any specific questions, I can probably get some info. pretty easy. Have you looked at the city-data.com for statistics. It is very informative. And also try the chamber of commerce for the area. It is about 25 miles to Evansville, In. Which has anything you would need,(probably), Lots of places to eat, malls, shops. Of course I am from the area and maybe partial, but it is a very scenic area. Hope I didn't ramble to much.:
