Default Hope everyone is staying warm!

Warm thoughts to all of you! Down here in Columbus, it's a balmy -2 ... brings back my downtown Chicago memories!

I just pulled up the weather in South Bend and it is -19 deg with a wind chill of -29. Even the webcam at ND on google appears to be frozen. Here in Raleigh NC it is 18 deg and overnight low forcast at 10 deg. We have not seen temps that low for some time and have not had nearly any snow since 2000 and 2002 (1-2 foot and 6"-1' respectfully) Do miss the occasional snowfall but don't miss winters like in South Bend in 1978 that was the only time I can remember that the whole city basically shut down for days although I left in 82 still do not recall hearing about weather that bad since. Took me and my dad 2 days to dig out to the street and another day before Mayflower rd. was plowed up to a road commisioners home accros the street from us then we had to dig the street to get to where they plowed. The town was dead for a week. Then more snow came!! Thought it would never end or thaw out. Stay warm y'all
