IF that is in fact true, that is actually not a good thing. Evansville's crime rate has historically been well below that average, but climbing in recent years.

I think the reason Reitz gets the better reputation is that the West Side has more of a feeling of a unified community because a lot of the families have lived there for generations, and there's the whole German Catholic thing. Whereas the North and East Sides and Newburgh are where all the newcomers go to. I've always thought the EVSC had good schools, though I guess they can't compete with the all glorious Castle.
