I officially ended with 12 inches in my backyard. Of course, after the frisbee game broke out you can't really tell. I am still working on wandering out front. I have 7 steps from the grass to my front porch. The snow goes up to the fifth step. You can not even tell that there are supposed to be steps beyond the top two that are sticking out.

We had about 6 inches yesterday, then 2 inches of ice and then 8 more inches on top of that. Walking on it was really weird. I took a picture of it ... you see the snow then a ledge of ice and snow on top of it.
And my gnomes are nowhere to be seen this morning

Hey gdude! We only got a piddly 5 inches here in Lafayette! My daughter thinks she hit the motherlode (little does she know...). The city piled the snow from our cul-de-sac in front of our house, so she has a hill to slide down!
