Fire broke out in the Janitors area of the building. Thick Smoke traveled through the vents and tripped the fire alarms. 4 Fire Departments responded. The fire was contained to the Janitors area. No students or faculty were affected.

P.S. Tell grandma thanks for helping too.

We never dealt with cookies or popcorn as all my sibs, me then my kids sold petunias for 4-H.
Thanks!

She is very good at challenging herself, and she is only 8! We keep the activities to a minimum - only Girl Scouts during the school year for now. Next year, we may add one other extracurricular activity - I don't want her to get totally stressed out like I have seen some of her friends. She maintains good grades in a challenging academic program, and she excels at Scouting. For now, that's enough. She is learning to set goals and acheive them, so hopefully when she gets older, she will still be able to manage her time well!

gdude glad nobody was hurt at your school fire. That could be scary if flames traveled through the venting system.

I am glad to! but I am now being informed that the Heating system is a total loss. The cause of the fire was from a belt malfunctioning somewhere in the heating system.

Since this is the chatting thread:

I am chatting up the Purdue Boilermakers! 2:30 tip off vs. Northern Iowa in the NCAA tourney first round. BOILER UP!

Might as well chat up Butler as well. 12:10 tip I believe against LSU.

It is a shame, both teams I want to watch are playing this afternoon while I am at work. Guess I will be putting espn.com to good use this afternoon!

Purdue won today!

I think they will be facing an uphill battle on Saturday against Washington.
