President Obama coming to Elkhart to discuss the economy
there are plenty of people in the area who won't have to worry about taking time off work to go hear him speak

So did any Hoosier tune in for the Presidential speech tonight? He referenced Elkhart a few times.

I watched him in Elkhart and the presser at night. I liked that he went to a place that expressly did not vote for him in November and that he took questions that weren't necessarily from friendly voters ... I'm not gaga, just liking the change of pace I guess.

'expressly' may be a bit of a stretch. if he lost the county in november, it probably wasn't by much.
nevertheless, i must admit that it was good to see a president taking [what i hope were] unscripted and unanticipated questions from the audience.

55% McCain
44% Obama
not quite a squeeker, but not pretty solidly McCain.
