I lived in Columbus for about 9 years. I'm in Evansville now and miss Columbus greatly. I moved to C-bus after living in Indy for about 8 years. The schools in C-bus are pretty good. I could def. tell a major difference from Indy schools vs. C-bus schools. I lived off of 46 by Tipton Lakes. It took me about 20 minutes to get anywhere, but the traffic wasn't bad at all. I think it spoiled me. We did have to go to Greenwood a lot if we wanted to go to a descent mall or to Best Buy, but its not too far so it wasn't bad. All in all I think its a great place to raise a family and there's plenty of room for volunteering at the schools!

Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions. I think we will be visiting Indiana next week and based off of the information we have been getting we are going to try the Greenwood area and the Center Grove schools... That way it's not too far for hubby to get to work and not too far for the family to get to the city and shopping. If you have anymore thoughts or suggestions, I would love to hear them! Thank you again!
