Columbus economy going DOWN. THE. DRAIN. (Kokomo, Marion: unemployment, money, area)

Cummins has laid off more than 200 employees this last month and Cummins is what Columbus relies on. If Cummins keeps hurting so will the 40,000 residents of Columbus. Mayor Fred Armstrong needs to stop trying to make the place look pretty and bring in more jobs or Columbus could turn out like Marion and Kokomo

Just some thoughts going through my head and my own oppinion about whats going to happen....

Right now Mayor Armstrong cant do anything about it. Every city across America is loosing jobs. Mayor Armstrong cant just hop over across the pond and seek more jobs. Asia and Europe are also feeling the recession

Have you thought that when he does these "projects" he is keeping your neighbors who may be city employees working? That your neighbors may still have a job thanks to those projects? We all want to stop wasteful spending, but sometimes you have to look at whats going on in a different way.

If all the jobs Columbus loses is 200, then its not so bad. We are currently dealing with over 15% unemployment in an area not much larger than Columbus.

who says its only going to be 200? its gonna be MUCH HIGHER THEN 200 in the next few months lmao!
