Default Live in IN, will work in KY--income tax for both states?
Hello,

I'm currently looking at taking a job in Louisville (currently work / live in southern Indiana, will continue to live in southern IN). Will I have to pay income taxes for both states? Or will I get credits from paying the (higher) KY income taxes that'll negate my IN income taxes?

you'll probably end up paying taxes for both states. not sure about KY but i recall IN tax you at 3.x% of your AGI on the federal return.

You will only pay income tax in one state. If you live in Indiana, that state should be Indiana.
