Default back to the drawing board

Ok so my husband had been there for a few weeks and he seems to like Brownsburg and Nobelsville... Any advice on either of these cities? I've checked out great schools and a few other websites...but ya'll have lived there... what's the inside scoop?

Both are great places. I can't remember where your jobs are ... but people commute to Indy from both. Noblesville has more of a small town charm feel since it's the county seat for Hamilton County ... courthouse square ... more established feel. But ... Brownsburg has a Chicago style eatery that I travelled from Fishers to get to ... Windy City ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Are you going to visit before you make the leap??

I live 2 towns South of Brownsburg. Brownsburg is a nice town for its size. Family friendly, great schools, traffic is kind of icky at points.

Has anyone notcied North of Brownsburg it looks like Carmel-Zionsville?

I will be visiting in April, during the kids sprig break,to look at houses and find something that suits our needs. It's hard because I love the house that I have here... It's perfect for our family and I'm not finding the same or even similar styles there... and I don't want to build or deal with new construction. With the economy being the way it is, I don't want to be in an uncompleted subdivision.
My husband will be traveling to both areas next weekend ... and so far all he can tell me is how much he loves being there. He works in Indy, although I'm not sure where...I know when I mapquested his office it's about 10 minutes from Carmel and he says about 20-30 minutes from Brownsburg. (if that helps) lol
Thank you for all your help I really appreciate it.. it makes me feel not so blind sighted moving into a new state

beware that Laws regarding Air soft guns also vary from city to city. Out here in Plainfield if the police are called on you for using a Air Soft gun they will automaticly take the gun and "impound it" If they are called over your child pointing the gun at someone then the gun is "impounded" and or your child may be arrested.
--I should know I have had to call the police when someone knocked on my door and pointed the gun at me and starting firing. turns out it was my friend. he was arrested and the gun was impounded.

depending on where you look acreage can cost you dearly. **I think** average cost of 1 acre in Plainfield is atleast $200K I believe. I may need to look again. I have seen 10 acres go for $17M before to. and it wasnt commercial property. you might want to look around.

** not trying to scare you**

Welcome to the Indianapolis area!!
