Default Bloomington Fitness Classes/Gym & Apartment Hunting

Does anyone know if there are spinning classes offered anywhere in Bloomington? I'm looking to join a gym and/or pay for spinning classes. I saw that the YMCA offers classes, but it seems kind of expensive.

Also, I'm looking for an apartment starting in June. I'm going to be working as an optometry resident at IU. I'm hoping to steer away from slum lords and undergrad parties. Any suggestions? So far the Bloom and MeadowCreek look nice?

Thanks!!

You should be able to use the IU SRSC. It's open to students, faculty, staff, and the public. Here is what is offered for cyclists. I'm not a spinner so I don't know if these are spinning bikes or not. The Y and the SRSC are the best options in Bloomington.

Spring CycleFit Schedule | IU Campus Recreational Sports

I'm not familiar with either apt. complex so can't help with those two. The best option is to visit.

Did you check with on campus fitness classes??? I'm sure they would be much cheaper, if not free.

I was a victim of a slum lord when I was at IU. Poolside apartments were across the street from me and they were nice ... and close to the Op school.
