We're relocating to Elkhart from Las Vegas. I've been calling around to get rates on residential trash removal and am appalled buy the rates, it's quite expensive in this neck of the woods. We'll be living outside of Elkhart City limits, in the Middleton Run Rd and Hively St. area and was wondering if Allied/Republic Services and Borden Waste-Away are our only options.

I currently pay $49.00 per quarter which includes the 96 gallon container, curbside pickup is twice weekly and recycling pickup is bi-weekly, two large items per week and no overage charges...I'm not looking forward to paying at least $65.00/qtr w/major restrictions and additional charges for everything......

Your thoughts.....anyone???

TIA
