Default Best parts of Indiana

What is your favorite town/city/region of Indiana?

Mine would have to be Central Indiana (Indianapolis).

To enjoy nature, Brown County. Still a lot of rural properties and cabins.

to work, Indianapolis.

To antique, Centerville.

To enjoy Amish culture and quilt shops on a Saturday, Shipshewana.

I love southern Indiana ... Bloomington, Jasper ... and if we move ... Columbus.

Southwestern-south central. I grew up in rural owen county and loved the country there. I'm also very fond of the area stretching from Bloomington-Brown County. I'm sure almost everyone on this forum is aware, but if not, Nashville (Brown Country) is arguably the most beautiful places in the state for spring blooms and fall foliage viewing.

Madison, IN definitely one of my favorite places, if not my favorite in Indiana. I am definitely a southern Indiana girl at heart, even though I now live near Fort Wayne.

Brown County is gorgeous in the autumn. I love the gentle rolling hills of Southern Indiana.

I remember watching some show on HGTV or Fine Living where they ranked Brown County as a top 5 autumn drive destination in the entire country!

Greenwood, IN....close to it all.....30 minutes to Brown County....30 minutes to Columbus....10 minutes and you're downtown Indy....20 minutes and you're in the Carmel area for more expensive shopping.....We love Greenwood.

Indianapolis, hands down.

I did think some spots around Angola were nice. Lots of lakes, nature, etc. Looked OK. Don't think I could live there because of the job situation, but was nice to look at.

Grew up in NW Indiana so that would have to be it for me. However, I also love West Lafayette/Battleground area.

As much as I like Indianapolis, I still like Fort Wayne the most.
