KOONTZ LAKE — More than $14 million will flow into this town from the federal government for its regional sewer district. It's part of a $26 million pool of cash from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for rural water and environmental projects, according to a statement from U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind. Koontz Lake is in the northeast corner of Starke County. The towns of Carthage, Dana and Elnora, in central and southern Indiana, also received money.
