Default Looking for a place to hold a fair in Southern Indiana.

My mommies group is looking for a place to hold a fair. It will be a craft/vendor type event to showcase the businesses and crafts of the mommies as we'll as other local people. We are hoping to find a place that isnt to exspensive so the proceeds can go back into the group! If you know of anything please let me know. Thanks!

Here is a little info on our group!

As part of The Mommies Network, SEIndianaMommies.com is a free community for moms in Scott County, Clark County, Floyd County, and portions of Washington county . We realize that all moms need local support -- and who can't use another friend? SEIndianaMommies.com offers a simple way to connect with local moms for friendship, support and fun. Members meet on our private discussion forums to share information on everything from where to get the best haircut to tips on transitioning to a "big kid" bed. Each month, we also offer many face-to-face events for our members, their children and their families.

You might put out a call to any members of your group to see if they belong to a church or other organization, such as the Elks, the Lion's Club, etc. and if they are able to use their facilities free of charge or for a nominal fee.

It might also be worthwhile to contact local schools to see if they rent out their gyms or cafeterias for events at a price that is affordable. It is my understanding that they are publicly owned facilities and that they can made available to the community for certain events.
