Marion?? (Culver: YMCA, internship, bars)

Hi!

I'm a grad student and I'm headed to marion for the summer to complete an internship. I've been scouring the net but I can't find any real info.... I need advice!!

First off -- what's there to do for a mid-twenty something year old?

Are there any good gyms? Good bars? Good food?

Responses will be greatly appreciated...

Marion is not on ones radar to go have a night life in so to speak. There are bars though some higher caliber than others just like any other town.

They do have a brand new refurbished YMCA and nice walkway paved beside the river going through their main park. They have your run of the mill fast food joints with White Castle and Culverts being built now seems the mayor's crowning joy was when the Sonic was built about a year ago.
