My utility bills are almost the same. I have an 1100sq.ft. 2-story townhome and each bill is about $30-$40 a month...I'm pretty conservative and it is an apartment, not a home.
Utility companies here are Duke and Vectren. Duke is electric and Vectren is gas I believe. At some points in the year, the Vectren bill will be much larger than Duke....sometimes around $100 in the winter.
