I am visiting on Saturday for three weeks so maybe things will seem better. He is alone and does not know anyone. It takes time to meet people. He is very upset with the dogs barking for 24/7.
I could not get him to even see the house before we bought it. He does not like to travel. I think he visited Indiana only once for my daughter's wedding. He is there for me and the kids but since I am not there yet, it is hard.

I know a lot of people who live in Santa Claus and love it. I do know that it is starting to grow a bit at a time. I know they were having issues with water at one time but I believe that issue has been settled. You get A LOT of bang for your dollar in the housing market there.

awesome thread...I am also from long island looking to move to Indiana! I'm looking to go to Bloomington. But I was just talking my friend about this (who I'm moving with) the other night! (the winter in indiana that is)
