The more I think about it, I would rather stick with Charlie, a true Domer, than switch to Gruden.

Well, the Bears are probably going to be needing a new coach next season ... him buying a house in Granger makes sense ... it's a 2-fer!

The Chicago Bears deserve better. Golden Boy Gruden didn't do very well at Oakland and at Tampa with the exception of his first year coaching the Bucs. In fact, they ended up running him out of Tampa. With his good looks and football savvy, he found his home on Monday Night Football.

Saturday night at Pitt will tell the story of Charlie's future at ND.

Oh Ma God ... it's so over for Charlie Weis.

Charlie and Wannie started their college head coaching duties the same year ... Charlie has been recruiting top classes for the last couple years. Wannie ... not so much. his classes aren't as hearalded as Charlies are yet he can put a team on the field that's cohesive, competent and can win!

Shall i head up to SB and help coach Weis pack up his office?

I can't stand the pain and torture of watching ND try to play the game of football under Charlie Weis. Bring on Brian Kelly!

The Administration has to get it right this time.

At least Danny Hope of Purdue turned in two big wins this season over Ohio State and Michigan. That ameliorates the team's other losses. Weis offered no amelioration and he's not even finished yet.

oh, he's done. it's over. The thing that was supposed to be Charlie's strong suit, coach, ended up being his demise. Everyone was concerned about his ability to recruit, and that is the one thing he ended up kicking but with ... it's just so unbelieveable.

At least mariucci has college and pro experience, so he knows the recruiting game. He's also said on occasion that ND would be his dream job.

ND needs to join the Big East. This independence thing is just killing them. If it weren't for the NBC contract, teams would turn them down ...

I haven't taken a look at Mariucci because I have been focused on Brian Kelly. I know one thing and that is that Gruden would likely be another flop.

Charlie's team may not even beat U Conn next Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium. It could turn into an egg throwing event and Charlie is a huge target.

I went to an Auto Dealer yesterday and the frikin' SLIMY SALESMAN asked my why on Earth am i wearing a ND hat. He then proceeded to explaine to me why they "suck" so bad. I told him i wear it with pride, and that they were gonna win today. Man, i guess he was right..... Oh well, at least USC got SMASHED!!!!
