Default Question about Muncie schools

I'm considering an opportunity in Muncie, have looked around a little bit, and have some questions about the schools since the city schools don't seem very good. I'm aware of Burris but it seems impossible to get in to plus other schools in Muncie and Fishers seems to have similar or better test scores..

Royerton Elementary seems to have strong rankings on greatschools.com. How are the teachers, kids and parents in this area?

Since Royerton feeds into Delta, how is the atmosphere in the middle and high schools?

Same questions for Yorktown. I'm getting mixed feedback on Yorktown. Is it cliquey with the kids or parents? How are the teachers in the Yorktown schools? thanks.

Muncie schools are no good. Where are you moving from? You should probably visit Yorktown and Delta to figure out which you like best. Delta is considered a "country" school so it all depends on what you are looking for.

Default what does "country school" mean

In speaking with people and reviewing online comments I keep hearing and seeing the term "country school" for the non city schools in Muncie. What exactly does that mean. Is it strictly the location of the school, the fact that it's surrounded by trees and farmland instead of buildings and traffic? Or is this a creative way of saying "substandard"? thanks

I've heard that Muncie schools are crap but in my opinion it's due to the low paying wages and lack of parenting skills at home.
