Question Purdue or Indiana University?

I just finished watching the rivalry game of purdue and indiana I was wondering who everybody was rooting for. I was obviously on purdue's side.

My son is a sophomore at IU. So I was rooting for IU. Maybe next year.

Given my location, it's a no brainer--IU. At least I was able to enjoy being outside and the game atmosphere with one of my kids. That's always a winning time.

Why were you "obviously" on Purdue's side??? Are you a Purdue grad? Live in W. Lafayette? I don't see any indicators in your post that would make it obvious that your allegiance would lie with Purdue?

With that said, I was rooting for the Hoosiers. Unfortunately, Indiana will continue to be a Conference bottom feeder if they insist on hiring second-rate head coaches. If Terry Hoeppner was still alive and coaching Indiana, I think he would have had the program back on track after 15+ of pathetic football in Bloomington.

I'm a Purdue alumni and a diehard fan out here on the East Coast. At least you all could see the game, here I had to keep checking the internet. As I've said, we may not being going to a bowl game, but hey, we beat Michigan, Ohio State and IU this year. I wasn't so sure of IU as that rivalry can be a toss up every year, no matter what, and after the thrashing we gave them last year, I expected big time revenge!
