I am finally going to move out of Scottsburg now. After being in a big city all my life, getting used to the country life was tough. But it has its own positives. The amount of peace and quiet you get is unimaginable. But too much becomes too boring.
Its a small town, so gossips spread like forest fire. People are kind of intrusive in other peoples matters. Two good apartment complexes while the rest are pretty dingy. Apartments are cheaper in Austin but thats a bad part of town with drugs n prostitution.
I didnt want to drive here, which turned out to be good in saving money on gas and time on road. Louisville is the place to be and is way better and cleaner than Indianapolis. The best part was there was snow only for one month here, but a lot of rain in May. The winters are better and summers are filled with Tornado warnings.
Walmart is the only thing open 24 hours, rest of the shops except fast food joints, close at 6pm.
