We are planning a long weekend soon to visit Madison.

Which would be the best airport to fly into? How long a drive?

You're going to be a little over an hour away from the airport in Louisville and about an hour and a half away from the Cincinnati airport. Either would be fine. I'd check prices for flights from your home airport. Sometimes, choosing between destination airports can mean a pretty significant difference in ticket price.

Louisville in Cincinnatti will both be an hour drive. If Indianapolis is a cheaper flight though, it is a two hour drive.

Tends to be pricey flying in/out of CVG. Southwest flies into Louisville and Indy.

That's true. When we lived in that area, my husband's company would always have him fly in and out of Dayton airport because it was so much cheaper.
