Default just some info for anyone wanting to move to Indy

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just found out yesterday that taxes in all of Marion county and going up 50%. So if you are buying a house soon you might want to remember that. I know that taxes ae going up to in Johnson county(Greenwood area) as well but I'm not sure how much.
Just some info you might want to ask your realtor.

Much more info can be found here:

WTHR - Indianapolis News and Weather - Property tax: Where does the money go?

Taxes may go up an average of 23%....

But my taxes are about 20% less on a house appraised (not assessed) at 5 times more than my parents in NY state. It is hard to complain about taxes that are lower than any of the surrounding states and the NE of the US.
