Moving 13-year old daughter to Tell City In (home, schools)

Can someone tell me about the schools, activities, etc. about Tell City, Indiana schools. She will be devastated when we tell her we are moving and I'd like to prepare her for it and find out some facts and possibly allowing her to meet some school-age children.

Hello, I would just like to say I moved my son here to Tell City when he was 10 and he made lifetime friends quickly he is 22 now and all the group is still managed to find their way back home from iraq, college,etc....We have excellent schools and 4H park and alot of church functions. I think it was easier on my child than it was for me adjusting to living in a different town without family or friends. Kids adapt better than we think they do.
