This is Indiana. You are going to come across plenty of big people in the Midwest. However, you are going to try harder to meet these fit black women because they are out there. I have a handful of friends who are black women and live in Indy and who are very fit. The first place is obviously the gym. You might also want to think about attending athletic events. We also have IUPUI, U of I, and Butler in the metro area where you will more likely to see more fit black women, younger of course.

Second. I'm guessing the reason these guys are single has nothing to do with their inability to find "fit women" in Indianapolis, but finding a woman willing to put up with them.

I would agree with the original poster, joining a Gym is not necessarily the best way to meet a lot of fit and athletic women. Broad Ripple is a hot nighspot for twentysomethings. My also checkout the local universities ... Butler, IUPUI, Univ of Indianapolis.
