Thank you. I will check them out! I like double-smoked fine ground kielbasi. I have never had fresh. My Polish deli back in NJ special orders a chicken kielbasi for me, as I do not eat red meat. I have my fingers crossed that I will be able to get the same somewhere in Indy.

Hi - I am strictly American having lived here all of my life. I am a USAF vet, have been in computers more years than I can count. I am very interested in the Russian people, their customs, religion, and military. I would really like to communicate with others in the Indy area - either on-line or in person. Thanks

Smile about communication

[]Hi Phillip, I am Irina. I am Russian and came to Indianapolis 20 days ago. My English is not very good, so I do same mistakes and I think it would be helping for us to communicate about Russian culture, literature and it would well for improving my English.

If interested, please feel free to send me a message to my mail santair @ mail.ru

С уважением, Ирина.

Does anyone know if Russia House is still open on the northside? They serve pretty good Russian food.

Never went to the pierogi festival in Whiting but Whiting is fairly close to Chicago with a significant Polish population,
so you can google Polish restaurants which not only have the pierogi (varenyky) but all the other classic dishes.
(the smell of gasoline is a bit too much for me in Whiting).
