I'm college student and I will be moving to Indianapolis next month. I don't have any job or house lined up and no one that I know of living there. I heard some people say I needed a job to rent an apartment. I'm moving with my dad and he has no job either. We both don't have credit or cosigner. However, we have enough money in the bank to pay for at least 1 year of renting and deposit. I just don't want to spend them at once, and I'm really likely to move again soon so I don't want to pay upfront more than 3 months. Do you know any apartment in not-too-horrible area in Indianapolis? I can afford renting payment about less than 650$ a month. Thanks a lot everyone!

There are plenty of extended stay options in Indianapolis. I would check them out.

I know some apartment complexes will look the other way if you pay all 12 months up front, all they care about is money the credit check is a formality for the renters that pay every month.
