Hello everyone, I am moving from the N. side of Indy and I am currently looking at 2 places.

One is off E. 36th & Washington, and the other is on Central between E. 44th and 45th.

How safe are these locations? Some days I like to wake up early before the sun is out and go jogging while still dark- would I be safe to do that in these areas?

If you are moving from the northside, and looking at another area on the northside, why don't you just go over there and look for yourself?

Washington Blvd. and 36th is in or on the border of a neighborhood called "Watson-McCord." It is a nice area that most people do not even know exists. It is a lot like the area I live, it is a nice little area surrounded by areas that would probably qualify as not so nice on these forums. Watson-McCord itself is a pretty neighborhood, they have a bird sanctuary and easy access to the Monon. My fiance and myself have, in the past, parked in that neighborhood and walked it over to the monon. Never had a problem.

44th and Central is fine.

Hi Toxic, yes I have an appointment to see one today and one next week. I do live on the northside, however I am not familiar with the areas of the new places I am checking out and I wanted to see what people had to say- sometimes places can look nice, and then just flat out not be a safe place to live.

Anyway, thank you for the information! I appreciate it.
