I might say that Medicare Part D was the stupidest thing offered by Bush 43 in that it wasn't paid for and will be more expensive than NCLB. But I hope you get my point, nonetheless -- don't throw stones when your party resides in a glass house.

I am not saying the Republicans have all the answers no they dont and neither do the democrats. However Obama has just been an embarassment for the democrats and the country as a whole. We should see some sort of recovery by now instead its just stagnating.

Okay I know this is getting off topic, but how is the economy Obama's fault? What exactly could he have done other than saving the banks and car companies, plus keeping unemployment below 10%? If it wasn't for the stimulus we may have had a much deeper recession.

Our Current Economy isnt bushes fault or Obama's fault in reality we have to trace this bubble that was just waiting to burst to Clinton and some areas even before that. This economy was bound to happen yet Obama failed cause his policies of ramming through ObamaCare etc havent helped us recover and now its stopping and were slipping back into recession. There is no way you can defend this idiot in Chief if we have another recession. We need a pro jobs person that can help get the regulations curbed and small businesses treated well so they can hire. Small Businesses account for over 60% of the jobs in our country treating them nice over the corporations will pay off better.

It isn't 100% Obama's fault, but he now is in the same bed as about the last ten or so presidents (and throw in CONgress as well). The fact is that enough people in this country want socialism, and enough politicians want the control socialism brings, that we continue down the road towards total totalitarianism. However, those with power, money, and the desire to get power and money (the younger generations), also want the riches that come with a capitalist economy. So now we have to direct opposites that politicians and others want the country to be. You can't be free-enterprise and socialistic, that just doesn't mix. We are trying to mix it by having these quasi-government agencies like Indianapolis Downtown Inc., CIB, etc.. Some people running these taxpayer subsidized organizations are making almost as much as Obama!!

Anyways, collapse is inevitable. Decades of war/nation building, ridiculous "stimulus" (a/k/a: Run the printing presses 24/7) saves, etc.. is only going to bring the collapse sooner. You can't print your way out of massive deficit spending, unless you have massive spending cuts, which just won't happen for fear of losing the next election (and thus power and money for the political class).

There was no reason to save the car companies, the banks, no one. I would rather Obama just take the next step and nationalize everything:Farming, food distribution, healthcare, housing, heavy and light manufacturing, energy, banking, lending, water distribution...basically just act like Hugo Chavez and finally destroy the lingering concepts that the US is said to be founded and based upon. Ban any concept of a stock market, no one in this country makes more than the President, everyone makes $40K by working or sitting around and collecting welfare, etc. If we are to have socialism, lets have socialism. The idea that this Keynesian economy can be saved is just so funny.

I feel the same way about state and local government. The only difference is that Ballard nor Kennedy can print their own money. If they could, they would.

I do blame obama. Save the car companies?? From what? Bankrupcy? They filed for it anyways. We should have let them do it earlier and without our handout. Plus obama thinks goverment spending is stimulus. It is fake stimulus. We will only recover when biz. Hires not goverment.
